One Minute of Your Time Please

Are you open to trying new things? Or are you content to stick with what you know and enjoy? When you go to a restaurant, will you order something you’ve never tried before, or will you stick with the same meal you always have? Are you interested in finding a new hobby, meeting new people, travelling to places you’ve never been? Or do you prefer to keep spending your time doing exactly what you’re currently doing?

There’s no wrong answer, so long as what you’re currently doing is good for your health and mental well-being. Not everyone wants to work out, or spend a lot of time on hobbies, or even on being very social. The key is not to become isolated, sedentary and self-centered. Every bit of research I’ve seen reveals that folks who move a little bit and get out to interact with others tend to be healthier and happier.

Trying something new and different might be just what you need to get that energy level back up.
