When I finish cooking something on my stove top, a red light shines brightly on the control panel display. The light warns you the stove surface is still very hot. If you ignore it and try to clean the burners too quickly, you will suffer a painful burn. The light will go off when it is safe to touch the surface.
If only there were red lights in all of life to warn when you are getting too close to danger. Actually, there are.
